Instructor: Chris Masad

Class Type: Take Notes! | These are our classic "lecture-styled" classes, where you're given lots of in-depth information by a knowledgeable instructor. Anyone is welcome to attend, but these classes are geared toward folks with more than a passing interest in the subject.

WHAT YOU'LL GET IN THIS CLASS:

  • A deep-dive, instructor-led tasting of several tequilas.
  • Light snacks before the class.
  • Special pricing on all featured tequilas.

Come thirsty, leave happy! Join our resident agave aficionado Chris for Tequila 101! In this fun, introductory class we'll learn all about where tequila is from, how it’s made, and who makes it. We'll learn about the incredible agave plant and its history in ancient cultures. We’ll also explore tequila's role in sustainability in modern-day farming, the debate around additive-free tequila, and other modern issues facing this burgeoning industry. Attendees will enjoy a guided flight of tequilas, light snacks, and special pricing on all featured spirits. Whether you're a tequila aficionado or just curious about this spirit, this class has something for everyone!
