Class type: Take Notes! | These are our classic "lecture-styled" classes, where you're given lots of in-depth information by a knowledgeable instructor. Anyone is welcome to attend, but these classes are geared toward folks with more than a passing interest in the subject.

Instructor: Kaleigh Swift

WHAT YOU'LL GET IN THIS CLASS:

  • A deep-dive, instructor-led tasting.
  • 7 wines from across Austria.
  • Individual cheese plate.
  • Special pricing on all featured wines.
  • Some lasting memories!
Ask a France 44 staff member what their favorite wines are, and they might say something like, "crisp wines from cool climates." White wines from these regions are often refreshing, cool, and insanely food-friendly, while reds tend to be deep, silky, and elegant. Few countries do these wines as well as the Austrians. This small but mighty country  makes exceptional wines: Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Weißburgunder, Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, and more. These are world class wines of remarkable quality and value. Join us for a casual evening of education as we traverse Niederösterreich, Bergenland, Steiermark, and beyond - one glass at a time!
