Cheeses of the Netherlands | March 5th | 6:00-7:30pm

Cheesemonger Sophia traveled to the Netherlands as the 2024 L’Amuse Essex Street Intern and traversed the Dutch countryside, studying the dairy culture of Holland. In this class, you’ll join Sophia for a guided Dutch cheese tasting! She’ll share the insights she learned working in an Amsterdam cheese shop, making Gouda on remote islands, and caring for the animals whose milk is responsible for these incredible cheeses. Sophia will deep dive on the cheese while you eat and enjoy a paired wine flight.

IMPORTANT STUFF: 

• Participants must be 21 years old.
• Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a class you have registered for, registration may be transferable to another France 44 class if given a 48+ hour notice.
• Please notify France 44 with any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Parking in our lot is limited, however, parking is available on 44th Street, France Ave, and Drew Ave S.
• France 44 is wheelchair accessible.
