Class Type: Hands-On! | These are our most involved and participatory classes, where you get the opportunity to learn a hands-on skill. Anyone can do it, though--no prior experience required to attend!

Couples who cocktail together stay together! Get a leg up on your Valentine's planning by joining us for our very first cocktail making class! Ashley will teach you the fundamental styles of cocktails, from stirred and shaken drinks, to fizzes and more. You'll not only learn about these essential styles of cocktails and sample them along the way, you'll also get a chance to try your hand at making them from a full bar kit set-up to give you the confidence to make them at home. Light fare will be provided to snack on, and we'll also have special discounts. Whether you're coming with that special someone or your best friend, this is the perfect class for those looking to learn the fundamentals of how to make iconic cocktails that are sure to impress.
IMPORTANT STUFF:
- Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a class you have registered for, registration may be transferable to another France 44 class, or, if given a 48+ hour notice, we can issue you a class credit.
- If you have dietary restrictions, please email austin@france44.com or call us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate all requests!
- Parking in our lot is very limited, and the center spots are 30 minutes only. However, parking is available on 44th Street, France Ave, and Drew Ave S. Please refer to THIS MAP for more parking information!

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:
Ashley Otis
Ashley's cocktail journey began at good old TGI Fridays where she was trained in their renowned bartending program and competed in flair competitions throughout the years. She then went on to several different styles of restaurants where she was able to create cocktail menus and compete in a variety of mixology competitions. She also worked from sales to Sales Manager at Minnesota’s first distillery. This all lead to her current position, and truly her dream job, of Craft Spirit Specialist for Johnson Brother Distribution. At Johnson Brothers she gets to work with tons of unique and esoteric products from around the world while still getting to shake up new creations every day.
