Ahhhhh, the French Champagne... There are so many iconic wine growing regions of France like Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Champagne that the rest of the country is often overlooked. But in this class, we'll be heading off the beaten path to explore lesser known wine regions like Languedoc, Corsica, Jura, and Roussillon! Instead of high-priced wines where you're paying for name recognition, we'll discover the incredible quality and value of other French wines you may not be familiar with. Whether you're a Francophile or new to French wine, you'll be sure to discover a wine that will make you shout, "Oh là là!"

IMPORTANT STUFF: 

  • Participants must be 21 years old.
  • Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a class you have registered for, registration may be transfered to another France 44 class if given a 48+ hour notice.
  • Please notify France 44 with any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Parking in our lot is limited, however, parking is available on 44th Street, France Ave, and Drew Ave S.
  • France 44 is wheelchair accessible.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:

Troy Seefeldt

Troy joined our wine team in 2024. He has his CWP and WSET III certification in wine. He left his technology career behind to pursue his passion in wine and wine travel. When Troy’s not selling our guests delicious wines, he’s more than likely traveling through wine country in Europe with his wife and fellow wine lover, Jenn. Troy loves bringing his wine adventures to life through his wine recommendations.
