We welcome back our good friend and award winning cheesemaker, Andy Hatch of Uplands Cheese, for a fun and delicious dinner event. Andy will talk about life on his dairy farm while you dine on a hearty dinner of our house made sausages paired with Uplands Pleasant Ridge Reserve.

After dinner you’ll have the unique and very special opportunity to participate in France 44’s batch selection of Pleasant Ridge Reserve. No other cheese shop in the nation gives its customers this kind of influence and insight into this storied event. Each year our cheese buying team selects two batches of Pleasant Ridge (160 wheels!) that are exclusive to our shops. Made exclusively from raw, pasture-fed milk, every day is a vintage with this cheese. You will sample several different batches of Pleasant Ridge, compare their tastes, textures, and aromas, and then cast your vote for which ones are your favorite. The winning batches will be stocked in our shops! Don’t miss out on this incredibly special insiders look at cheesemaking and how we at France 44 benefit from Andy’s hard work.

IMPORTANT STUFF: 

• Participants must be 21 years old.
• Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a class you have registered for, registration may be transferable to another France 44 class if given a 48+ hour notice.
• Please notify France 44 with any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Parking in our lot is limited, however, parking is available on 44th Street, France Ave, and Drew Ave S.
• France 44 is wheelchair accessible.
