Join us for an incredible evening as we travel through space and time with Sake! We'll visit various villages and prefectures across Japan at specific moments in time to experience how Sake has evolved from the Edo Period’s barrel-brewed umami rich, Kimoto Sake to the elegantly refined Ginjo and Daiginjo Sake of today!

Intrepid guide, Chris Griese of Sake Story, will start the class with a brief, seated lecture and tasting before the class opens up and we move to tasting stations at your leisure. Whether you're a die-hard sake nerd or just curious about this 2,000 year brewing tradition, this is the perfect class for you to taste sake's past, present, and future!

IMPORTANT STUFF: 

• Participants must be 21 years old.
• Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a class you have registered for, registration may be transferable to another France 44 class if given a 48+ hour notice.
• Please notify France 44 with any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Parking in our lot is limited, however, parking is available on 44th Street, France Ave, and Drew Ave S.
• France 44 is wheelchair accessible.
