Few cocktails have inspired raptures and had a strangle-hold on American culture like the martini. The humorist H. L. Mencken observed, "Martinis are the only American invention as perfect as a sonnet.” Johnny Carson claimed, “Happiness is finding two olives in your martini when you’re hungry.” And Dorothy Parker, with her characteristically ribald wit confessed, "I like to have a martini, two at the very most – After three I’m under the table, After four, I’m under my host."
Join us for an evening celebrating this most perfect of cocktails as we explore its many iterations. From wet to dry, dirty to all the 'tinis of various flavors, they'll all be showcasing The Botanist Islay dry gin from our friends at Rémy Cointreau.

- Participants must be 21 years old.

Tickets are non-refundable. If given a minimum of two days (48-hour) notice, we can issue you a class credit or transfer your tickets to a future class.
- Please notify France 44 with any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Parking in our lot is limited, however, parking is available on 44th Street, France Ave, and Drew Ave S.
- France 44 is wheelchair accessible.
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:
Olivia Mize
Olivia works on the wine & spirits side of France 44. She moved from the West Coast several years ago and is happy to have settled in the Midwest! Other than always looking for the best beverages, she loves spending time consuming any form of media and making homemade pickles.
