Join our resident agave nerd Chris for a fun, introductory class all about the amazing agave plant and mezcal. You’ll learn about the different types of agave, its history in ancient cultures, how it's used to make mezcal, and what separates mezcal from other agave spirits like tequila. We’ll also explore its role in sustainability in modern-day farming. Attendees will enjoy a guided flight of mezcal spirits, a light fare to snack on, and special pricing on all featured spirits. Whether you're an mezcal aficionado or just curious about this smoky spirit, this class has something for everyone!

Tickets are non-refundable. If given a minimum of two days (48-hour) notice, we can issue you a class credit or transfer your tickets to a future class.

Parking in our lot is limited, however, parking is available on 44th Street, France Ave, and Drew Ave S.

MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:

Chris Masad

Chris is an agave aficionado and has his WSET Level 1 Certification in Wines. Outside of France 44, he is also a local guide and history buff, and runs a private concierge service called the Twin City Squire. Find him reading up on Minnesota history on a slow day at the registers.
