Perlage and cuveés and disgorgement, oh my! When it comes to wine, there's no category as obscured with confusing terminology as sparkling wines. But have no fear--Winston is here! Join us for a deep dive, cork dork exploration into the wide world of sparkling wines. We'll cover everything from how different levels of sweetness, production methods, regions, grapes, and vintages all have an impact on sparkling wines, but, best of all, we'll taste through those differences by sampling seven of our favorite sparkling wines from around the world! Whether you're still trying to figure out how they got all those bubbles into the bottle, or you're well acquainted with what "riddling" is, this is the perfect occasion to enjoy an entertaining evening of education over a few glasses of bubbly wine. After all, as Oscar Wilde wrote, "pleasure without Champagne is purely artificial."

• Participants must be 21 years old.
• Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a class you have registered for, registration may be transferable to another France 44 class if given a 48+ hour notice.
• Please notify France 44 with any dietary restrictions or preferences.
