Class Type: Take Notes! | These are our classic "lecture-styled" classes, where you're given lots of in-depth information by a knowledgeable instructor. Anyone is welcome to attend, but these classes are geared toward folks with more than a passing interest in the subject.

The Alps have long inspired awe, but they've also inspired some truly exceptional wines. They touch in part many of Europe's finest wine producing regions, from Bugey and Savoie in France, Trentino-Alto Adige and Valle d'Aosta in Italy, Valais in Switzerland, Kärnten in Austria, Baden in Germany, and beyond. In the deep seclusion of alpine valleys, ancient traditions and indigenous grapes have been protected and preserved on steep vineyards to produce a remarkable variety of wines from stony, salty whites, to delicate, fully ripe reds and rosés. These high-altitude wines from cool climates are among some of our favorite wines, and it's easy to see why once you've tasted them. Join Winston for an entertaining evening of viticultural mountaineering as we sip our way through wines that are as breath-taking as the vineyards that they come from.

• Participants must be 21 years old.
• Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a class you have registered for, registration may be transferable to another France 44 class if given a 48+ hour notice.
• Please notify France 44 with any dietary restrictions or preferences.
• Parking in our lot is limited, however, parking is available on 44th Street, France Ave, and Drew Ave S.
