Wines of Armenia: The World of Ancient Wine | October 3rd | 6:00-7:30pm
The wines of Armenia are truly ancient. Evidence of winemaking in this stunningly beautiful country goes back to a 6100-year-old winery--the world's oldest known winery! After a long, painful, and complicated history, Armenia has found its way back onto the international map of fine wine production, and into the hearts of wine lovers around the world.
Join special guest and Armenian wine expert Dana Farner from Storica Wines for a not-to-be-missed deep-dive class into the world of Armenian wine! Discover varieties like Areni and Voskehat from mountainous elevations and volcanic soils, and learn why Armenian winemaking is truly an heroic effort.
