Welcome to our newest 3-part wine series, featuring the wines of Spain & Portugal! Each class will highlight a new region of the Iberian Peninsula, and we'll explore both the classics and the little-known grapes and traditions. Join us for one part or all three--these are meant to be stand-alone classes as well as part of a larger story!
Sure, Spain is known for arid landscapes, hot summers and bull fights. But there's also a part of Spain that's lusciously green, rainy and cool, and filled with minerally white wines and delicate, aromatic reds. This is where we'll head for the third class of this wine series, along with northern Portugal (Vinho Verde country)! Join Karina for a guided tasting through some of the most unique and exciting springtime wines Spain has to offer.
IMPORTANT STUFF:
- Participants must be 21 years old.
- Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot attend a class you have registered for, registration may be transferable to another France 44 class if given a 48+ hour notice.
- Please notify France 44 with any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Parking in our lot is limited, however, parking is available on 44th Street, France Ave, and Drew Ave S.
- France 44 is wheelchair accessible.
MEET THE INSTRUCTOR:
Karina Roe
Karina is a wine educator and the General Manager of the France 44 Event Space. She completed her WSET Diploma in Wine in 2020. Her fridge is usually occupied by bubbles, and she and her partner share an adorable dog named Ziggy who loves eating sticks as much as she loves drinking bubbles.
